Good Afternoon Friends & Family of The Fold,
We have had the awesome privilege of having another amazing work team here with us this week. It has been a blessing for all of us! Thank you so much for all you have done to bring glory to the Lord!
We also had the privilege to honor Erin as she graduated from the program last Friday and the extreme pleasure to also graduate both Erin and Aiyanna from The Fold’s Cornerstone Christian School as the class of 2009! It was quite an honor to see these two young ladies achieve an awesome stepping stone in their life.
Please keep the Girls Home in your prayers as Bruce & Amber Althouse (GH
HouseParents) completed their time serving with us at The Fold and left this morning to follow the Lord’s direction into new areas! They have served amazingly in the Home and we are sad to see them go, but are trusting them to the Lord to lead them into new forms of ministry for Him.
Please keep them in your prayers in this time of transition, travel, and rest.
Please especially keep each teen and staff in the Girls Home in your prayers through a time of transition, change and loss. Please also hold Jay, Hannah, Joy, and others in your prayers as they step up to fill in the gaps during this time without Houseparents. Please also keep Jay (our Program Director) in your prayers as he diligently works to interview and converse with prospective Houseparents to come to the Girls Home! Please also keep in your prayers Alyssa and Sarah H. as they are our new Resident Instructors who are preparing to come serve in the Girls Home.
Please also pray for the Boys Home and the School as they undergo daily changes and challenges, for the Lord’s clear direction in all decisions, for wisdom & direction for each staff, daily encouragement for staff, dedication & cooperation for each resident in the program, and opportunities to speak God’s love & truth into each one of these precious teens’ lives!
Good Afternoon Friends & Family of The Fold,
Thank you all for your prayers! This was the last week of the stretch and there was a lot to accomplish. The teens were working hard to meet their goals in school and finished up with a few special activities. The homes have been working with the teens to prepare them for their home visit and the time they will spend with their families. Of course there was plenty of fun in there as well. Both homes had the opportunity to gather together in a time of praise and worship around the campfire, which was a great time; as well as enjoy a great game of softball together! The teens had other activities over the week like playing laser tag, hiking, lawn mowing, volunteer projects, sports, bible studies, etc. Please continue to pray for the next two weeks for all the staff and teens as they travel home and spend time with their families and friends. That it would be a restful, fun and encouraging time for all. Please pray for all those who are going to struggle that they would seek the Lord’s guidance and that they would remember all that they have learned in the program and apply it to their life at home.

We encourage you to bring a group from your church or family to enjoy this special time with us. Think about who you can tell about The Fold today? We need your help to get the word out there and spread around. Join us by telling people around you about the open house and celebration fundraiser, or by sharing a link to The Fold’s website. Churches you are able to put our link right on your own websites as a way to lead people to The Fold for help. Each one of you who reads this email has some connection to The Fold.
We encourage you to think about how you can use your connection to The Fold to help us to reach the many families in need of our help.
Thank you for all your prayers and support! God Bless and have a great week!

Good Afternoon Friends & Family of The Fold,
Hi all! Things are busy here. We have been busy with staff interviews as well as Girls Home resident interviews! The homes have been active climbing mountains, playing sports, helping out at a camp, yard work, and much more.
As well as preparing and getting excited for the Home Visit! Attached is a picture of the Girls Home at the summit of Mt. Wheeler and the Boys Home being silly in the van.
This is the last week of the stretch and the teens and staff will be leaving on Saturday for a 2 week home visit. You can be praying for traveling safety for all and for a fun, relaxing restful, time with family and friends. Please be praying for the teens as this can be a hard transition back to their homes for 2 weeks and for some this is the first home visit since they have been in the program. Pray they well remember all they have learned here in the program and apply it to their time at home with their families. This week we also have a Parent Seminar for the parents of some of the teens that have been in the program for awhile.
Please pray for all the staff involved as the work and share with the parents, for traveling safety for the parents, and for the parents to have open hearts to learn about ways to better understand and interact with their child.
Thank you for all your prayers and support! God Bless and have a great
week!

Good Afternoon Friends & Family of The Fold,
Hey all! Things at The Fold are getting busy! Last week the Girls Home had
an awesome time going to Six Flags for the day and the Boys Home and School
went to play mini-golf, pizza and ice cream, and also had a great time.
This past Friday both homes as well as other staff went to see MercyMe in
concert! It was a quite a blessing and a privilege for us to experience.
Thank you to ALL who donated or helped us to go to all the above
activities! This weekend we also had the privilege of having a work team
with us from VT! Thank you all for all the hard work!
Thank you for all your prayers and support! God Bless and have a great
week!
Sarah
