"Trials still came and will always come, but now I know how I should handle them. I saw the evidence that God was starting to clean up my life. One of the key verses for me, especially during these trials, has been James 1:2-4, because it talks about the fruit of the trials. It builds an unbreakable perseverance."

Teen Counseling and Discipleship

Counseling & Discipleship

Staff-and-boys-home-studentThe Fold Staff follow a biblical discipleship model. Each staff person takes a personal interest in the lives of families and teens, seeking to feed their understanding of value and hope. In addition to attending regularly scheduled counseling by staff trained to use the Exchanged Life or Grace Life model, teens live with home staff who are role models on a 24/7 basis during daily life. As teens experience life with staff, they also learn to understand themselves and the choices they are making. Helping them 'connect the dots' between choices and consequences is an important step in their growth process.
