"I knew I needed a change (what I really needed was a heart change!) and that process began when I made the decision to enter The Fold."

There are various types of families who come looking for help at The Fold.  Some are healthy families, already involved in their church and community, who are looking for an extra source of support and growth in their lives.  Other families come with deep wounds and dysfunction within their personal and/or extended family.

Regardless of your family situation, we believe The Fold can help. As a ministry, we come alongside families and seek to build genuine relationships with them.

Through this relationship we find ways to encourage, support and guide in the healing process.  While we can't make the past go away, we can point you towards healing and hope and provide an opportunity for your family to grow together and in the Lord.

We offer quarterly parent seminars and practical resources, in addition to individual, family and marriage counseling for the families in our program. We continue to get excellent feedback about the effectiveness of our parent seminars and training.

"We, as parents, have found a safe place to bare our souls, are taught truths to heal past hurts, given practical principles to apply to OUR lives now and in our relationship with our son and a GREAT hope for the future. I can't express enough how the teaching, the listening ears, the encouragement, the understanding, the hugs, the personal stories have changed our lives. It is almost impossible to express how deeply our hearts have been touched and bolstered by spending time with the other parents as well. Some of them, who have walked this path a bit before us, are able to give us ideas of what has helped them and also stories of growth and HOPE in their families. They provide invaluable support and know how to pray like no one else. It is such a safe environment and one of deep understanding, uplifting and with a real sense of learning and community. Parent seminars have been like a healing balm and life support for us!" - Melissa, mother of a resident
