The Fold's ministry of Christ-centered residential care for teens provides care for up to 26 young people, ages 13-17. The program has three locations and is housed in five separate buildings (three are located together on a central campus and the two homes at nearby locations). The facilities include a group home for boys, a group home for girls (five miles apart), and a central campus with our school, the administrative offices, and counseling center pictured here.
Teens commit voluntarily to enter the program with an average stay of 12-14 months. They have regular communication with parents and week long home visits every 7-8 weeks. Since the teens are off one week every two months our school operates throughout the year and teens can enter the program at any time.
Our school is recognized by the State of Vermont, which allows us to address the educational needs of our teens; helping them to overcome learning difficulties while achieving new levels of academic success. Twelfth grade students can earn their diploma while here.
Parents receive support through teaching seminars, held at out Retreat Center, regular communication, and encouragement and accountability through their local church. In addition to our residential program, The Fold has regular outreach to churches throughout the Northeast, presenting seminars and conferences designed to help families succeed, and assist pastors and church leaders in the support of their local congregations.
